Privacy Policy
TrueNorth Intell builds and manages private AI operating systems for businesses. This policy covers our website (truenorthintell.com) and the TrueNorth Intell app for Clover. The client service relationship — where a client's data lives, who can see it, and what deletes when — is covered in plain language at Data & Trust and in the published Data Retention Policy. The short version everywhere: we collect only what's needed to run your systems, your data is used only for you, and we never sell it or share it with third parties.
The TrueNorth Intell app for Clover
When a merchant authorizes the TrueNorth Intell app through Clover's OAuth consent flow, the app accesses, on that merchant's behalf:
- Sales orders (including line items) — to produce daily sales summaries, item-level sales analysis, and inventory-depletion forecasting.
- Payment records (amounts, tender types, and results — never card numbers or cardholder data) — to reconcile sales against the merchant's accounting system.
- The item catalog (names, SKUs, prices, costs) — to map sales to items, track margins, and stage price/cost updates.
The app's only write access is applying merchant-approved price and cost updates back to the merchant's own catalog. It processes no payments and holds no cardholder data.
This data is used solely to operate the merchant's own TrueNorth reporting and forecasting systems. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with third parties. The app runs server-side and stores only the merchant's own OAuth refresh token, kept in secured configuration storage scoped to that merchant.

Our website is informational. We collect no personal information beyond what you choose to send us (for example, booking a conversation or emailing us).
Retention and deletion
Merchant data and credentials are retained only while the merchant's TrueNorth engagement is active. A merchant may revoke the app's access at any time from their Clover dashboard, and may request deletion of any retained data by emailing us — we honor those requests promptly.
